Prostate cancer defined

Prostate cancer is defined as a disease in which the cells of the prostate become abnormal by growing uncontrollably and resulting to tumors. The tumors, which are masses or lumps of tissue made up of abnormal cells, could either be malignant or benign. Malignant tumors may spread to other parts of the body and could multiply out of control. It is said to be a disease most common in older men.
